By late morning you are stepping shoes-in-hand onto the white travertine terraces: walking barefoot through the warm, ankle-deep pools is the site rule that keeps the calcite bright, and it feels gentler than it sounds. Above the terraces your licensed guide walks you through Hierapolis, the Greco-Roman spa city built over the hot springs — a hillside-carved Roman theatre in remarkable condition, temple and church remains, and a necropolis counted among the best-preserved ancient cemeteries in Anatolia. Because the day runs long — plan on roughly 13–14 hours door to door from Kızılağaç — it is built around three included meals. Breakfast comes on the road out, lunch is served at a restaurant near the site, and dinner appears on the return leg, so you walk back into your resort fed rather than hunting a late buffet. Drinks are the one thing at the table you pay for yourself. After lunch there is free time: many guests spend it on the optional dip in the Cleopatra Antique Pool, floating over toppled Roman columns — its ticket is separate and bought on site. Depending on the season, the programme may also add a stop at Karahayıt's red springs or at Lake Salda; both are operational extras, never a promise.

Do you collect guests directly from the Kızılağaç resorts?+
Yes — pickup is from your hotel door, whichever resort along the Kızılağaç strip you are staying in, and drop-off is back at the same door in the evening. The start is early in the morning; the exact time depends on where your hotel sits in the collection route and is confirmed with your booking.
Why isn't the Pamukkale entrance ticket part of the €50?+
Because the gate prices are not ours to set. The site administration adjusts its official tariffs seasonally, so instead of hiding a padded guess in the tour price, we keep the €50 for the coach, guide, insurance and meals — and you pay the real ticket price at the official counters when you arrive.
Can you actually get into the water at Pamukkale?+
In two ways. On the terraces themselves you wade: the pools are shallow and warm, and everyone walks barefoot through a designated open section — that is a site rule, not ours. A proper swim happens only in the Cleopatra Antique Pool higher up, among submerged marble columns, and that one has its own ticket sold on site.
